It is the P. H. Glatfelter Company’s intent to have the Y2K application issues resolved in 1998. In a majority of our applications, we will be using IBM’s sliding window technique. The invoice document and the order acknowledgment document that you currently receive will not be changed. These dates will continue to be represented in the same format you are accustomed to.

In 1998 we will be installing the Y2K compliance upgrade to our EDI software. With the upgrade we will continue to follow the Ansi X12 version, which carries a two position year field.
